Mollom’s to spam for NetLog on a speed of 200 messages per second

In a deal with Netlog, the fastest growing social networks of Europe, spam filtering tool Mollom has taken responsibility of filtering messages for the site. Mollom would filter more than 4 million messages in over 25 languages for Netlog that has more than 40 million worldwide users.

For the purposes, company has constituted dedicated server in Netlog data center for real –time 24/7 hour monitoring of messages and comments. Mollom is capable of automatically blocking comment spam, contact form spam and fake user accounts using technology combined with content analysis and CAPTCHA challenges. The servers at the Mollom can analyze more than 50 messages per second reaching up to 200 messages per second at peak hours with 99.95 percent efficiency in detecting and blocking spam content.

Netlog is increasing on a very fast pace in Eastern Europe and the Middle-East due to its viral nature and extensive language translation program.
