Twitter upgrades Email Notifications extra functional
Twitter has lately modernized a significant way to send email notifications. This consists of both direct message notifications as well as new follower notifications. Together they now carry the Twitter logo and turquoise background in each update, relatively much better than just bare text. But more notably, the new notifications contain a lot more information regarding the person conveying you the message or following you.
As shown below, earlier when somebody followed you, you received a message like:
Hi, MG Siegler (parislemon).
XXXXX XXXX (xxxxx) is now following your updates on Twitter.
Check out XXXXX XXXX’s profile here:
http://twitter.com/XXXXXYou may follow XXXXX XXXXXX as well by clicking on the “follow” button.
Best,
There was only a hyperlink to the URL of the follower’s actual profile. Whereas now, as soon as a new person subscribes to you, you see what is in the image below.

As shown above, this update now informs you the inclusive data of- how many followers they have, how many people they are following, and how many tweets they’ve sent. You are also enabled to view their profile picture. While earlier, you would have to click from end to end to a person’s profile on Twitter to seek all the above mentioned information. This definitely will save us a lot of time in scrutinizing the people who follow me. And it essentially would help me follow additional people that I want to, as it’s no longer a nuisance to screen through new users now.
While the direct messages also contain the Twitter logo now and aren’t that much unusual substance-wise, in addition to the Twitter user’s icon.
