Here is a novel feature- comment translation for the sites that use Google Friend Connect and its comment gizmo. As the name suggests, comment widget plugs into Google Translate that permit readers to interpret comments left in foreign languages. Undoubtedly it will prove to be a fortunate thing to global blogs and sites, like Go2Web20, which employ Google Friend Connect as a login system.

This will enable you to talk to people half-way around the world, although they don’t verbalize the same language.  The translation is still machine translation, but it is generally sufficient to get across the main idea of what people are expressing.

Google informs that this can be employed for an array of sites, including international non-profits such as the World Wide Fund for Nature’s Earth Hour website. Visitors to such website can now leave comments in their local language and use Google Friend Connect’s comment translation to connect in deliberations with the greater community.

Possibly in an attempt to catch up to Facebook Connect, comment translation is one of quite a few new gadgets that have been rolled out in Google’s Friend Connect gallery. These features consist of- the event gadget, the polls gadget, and the Get Answers gadget.
