In a recent development at Apple, an email alert has been sent to all the developers that   any App added to App store should be ready for the iPhone 3.0 software which is to be released at Apple’s WWDC event in June. And the substance in the mail also states that any app submitted that is not 3.0 compatible will be rejected. It is clearly stated that in the mail that all submissions to the App Store will be checked on the latest beta of iPhone OS 3.0. And any incompatibility with iPhone OS3.0 would not be approved. Even after the releases of iPhone OS 3.0 any app that is incompatible with iPhone OS 3.0 may be removed from the App Store. Further instructions were given to the developers that they should be careful in developing 3.0 firmware, that it should not went awry in any case and runaway from the compatibility.
