NOKIA 6700 Classic - The Style Statement from Nokia
If there is one style of phone Nokia excels at it is the simple Candy bar and Nokia proved the point once again with the launch of its 6700 Classic. The key features of this mobile phone are its camera, fast browsing capability and of course, providing the means to “Stay Connected” with people.

The phone has the look of an evolved version of the 6300; it has retained the silver/black livery, but this time covering a more curvy, ergonomic-looking case. The rear of the phone is stainless steel, giving the 6700 a weighty, solid feel in your palm; however at 116 grams it’s not too heavy to be uncomfortable in your pocket. This is also reflected in its overall dimensions, 109×45, with a very slim 11mm thickness. The polished look of the keypad and overall build quality of the 6700 gives it an expensive feel something which belies its competitive pricing.
The built-in music player supports MP3, MP4 and AAC music formats, and there is an FM Radio. Nokia have supplied the 6700 classic with 170 mega bytes of internal memory, and this can be increased to 8 GB by using a MicroSD Card. A really clever addition to the 6700 Nokia is the 3.5mm jack, so that you can add your own set of head phones.
Some of the other features the 6700 Classic boasts of are:
5 megapixel camera with autofocus
GPS navigation with Nokia Maps
WebKit open source browser, as used on Nokia’s high-end phones such as the E90 and N95
16 million colour screen
HSDPA for super-fast downloading
Windows Live Messenger
1GB microSD card expandable to 8GB
Video recording, playback and streaming
The Nokia 6700 should be a huge success for Nokia. It offers everything you could want from a phone at a bargain price, and with sleek styling it could soon be the top selling model of Nokia.
