Windows 7 Release Date January 2010
Windows 7, which is the next great expectation for Microsoft to turn around its fortune had beta release on February 2009 is set to launch ‘Windows 7 Release Candidate on 5th May 2009’ and with continuing technical up gradation is set to finally launch on January 2010.
Windows 7 has pinned up many hopes for Microsoft which was bit disappointed with performance of Vista version of its operating systems. As with continuing traditions Widows’ OS this version is also meant for personal computers, home and business desktops, laptops, table PCs, netbooks and media center PCs.
As the latest version for Windows 7, is incremental upgrading with applications and hardware compatibility to cover up flaws discovered at Windows Vista. The focus on Windows 7 version is much concentrated around multi-touch support, a redesigned Windows Shell with a new taskbar, a home networking system called HomeGroup and performance improvements. Many earlier applications like Windows Movie Maker and Windows Photo gallery has been removed from this version. However, would be provided as different and individual entity.
Microsoft is offering entirely six different editions for the Windows 7, though Home Premium and Professional will be provided at retail market for the most common user. Whereas other editions are provided for different markets like developing world or enterprise use. There would be a beta version of the Windows 7 upgrade advisor to check out computer’s compatibility of running windows 7.
